A sunny day, I came back to Viet Nam from USA to visit my family. I was working in a company. After my dinner, I visited my family and. Nat, my elder sister was ready to go to AIS when I arrived. She asked me to go with her. Without any pauses, I agreed and got in her Porches. Suddenly, I felt a familiar feeling in my heart, the feeling which came to me when I left AIS to study abroad.

I was thinking about the time when I studied at AIS. I wondered whether my teachers were still there or not. The engine awoke me as it stopped. Wow! That was a surprise, everything changed. At that time I thought the school changed but maybe the teachers were exactly same before. But I was wrong! Every teacher had gone. When I visited AIS with Nat, I saw Mr. Francis. He was tidying his room and arranging his stuff in small boxes. It was a surprise for me when I saw that, then I asked him “Mr. Francis, where will you go?” He looked upset, he was not answering me. He just sat down and asked a lot of thing about me.
“How was your study in USA, Mike? It was good, right? And what‘s your job now?” asked Mr. Francis.
“Ok! Not too bad. After I graduated, my school introduced me to a lawyer and he hired me as his assistance. I am also a lawyer, but I don’t usually stand up at the court and argue.”
“Oh! That’s cool. You succeeded.” he said.
The boxes which he put his stuff in reminded me about his moving. So, I came back to my main question.
He told me, in a sad voice, “When technical improves it seems that the machines which open their mouths and speak as what they were programmed are more important than the living people.”
Without any further words, he left his room and disappeared. I didn’t understand anything. Then I went upstairs and I saw a very big room, it looked like it’s very important. I looked at the room with curiosity and I saw Mr. Tim, Mr. Mitchell, and Mr. Jim were standing and hadn’t had any movement. I was so confuse and I shouted t
heir names. There was no replied. I was afraid that something happened with them. So I tried to open the door but I could not. I looked at them 1 more time and I identified there were robots, not my living teachers. I went home with confuse.“How could it be like that?” I asked myself. I sent a mail to Mr. James last month. He told me that all of my teachers were still in the school. How could it change so fast like that?
Then, I decided to find the source and figured out a terrible truth. Not only AIS, every school in Vietnam used the robots to replace the teachers. I thought it was not fair. “If they were all fired, how can they earn their lives?” I said in quietly.
I found the company which provided these robots. They came here 2 months ago and had sold their productions. This fact could partly explain why Mr. Francis was so sad. A
t night, I went to the company and met the president of it. I wanted them to speak out the reasons. But they didn’t want to hear me! That made me mad.“I’ll bring you to the court!” I shouted when the security pulled me out of the door.
I did. And I won. They did this business just for money. There weren’t any papers from the government allowed them to do it. They gave an amount of money for the teachers for them to have good lives. But their responsibility was to teach the younger. And it was also what they wanted to do. The company couldn’t steal that honor from their hands.
The company closed after that. All the teachers returned to their places. Now, I was really satisfied to see their happy faces. Mr. Francis look at me with tears on his face, couldn’t speak out even a word.
